We stayed at this hotel with our family and booked a SOL, SEA FRONT room on HB.
Location: it’s a 10-minute slow walk from the public transport stop to the hotel, and a 3-minute walk to the beach. The hotel is large, and there are Russian-speaking staff at reception. Next to reception there’s a restaurant with plenty of seating. Most guests are families with small children, which is especially noticeable at breakfast and dinner times.
Food: the choice was quite varied. Breakfast always included salmon, milk porridge, cheeses, vegetables, pancakes, eggs, cereals, fruit — and even wine and beer were available at breakfast (I’ll add a breakfast video). Dinners were themed and changed every evening; we filmed one of the dinners and I’ll share the link. What surprised me was that drinks at dinner were free (water, wine, beer), whereas on HB they’re usually extra.
Rooms: the sea-view room was great. For three people, the sofa was made up for our child; there was a mini fridge, and a table and chairs on the balcony. Soundproofing was fine, and the shower worked properly. A downside for me was the lack of closed wardrobes. As it was the end of the season, there were scuffs on the walls and some furniture from suitcases and shoes, but it didn’t affect the holiday. City-view rooms overlook the water park. I’ll add a room video tour.
Water park: it was open, but the water wasn’t heated, and hardly anyone used the pool. There’s daytime entertainment for children and adults, a kids’ club, and live music in the evening.
The beach in Magaluf is excellent.
