We stayed at this hotel as a family and chose it for the convenient location — it’s a 6-minute walk to the railway station, from where we travelled by train to Menton and Monaco. 

We booked a Family Junior Suite for 3 adults and 2 children. The room is spacious: on the first level there’s a table, three chairs, two armchairs, a large bed and a TV; on the second level there are three single beds and a wardrobe/dressing area. White towels, plenty of space in the bathroom, a clothes-drying rack and soap are provided. The room overlooks a quiet street; there’s no balcony, just a window. Good sound insulation.

Downsides: the shower only has a rainfall head, so bathing a child isn’t easy. There’s no ventilation in the toilet.

There’s no minibar in the room.

The hotel is B&B — classic French-style breakfasts — and there’s also a restaurant where you can have dinner from the menu.
