I booked a Standard Side Sea View room.

The hotel’s main advantage is its proximity to the ocean — although the shoreline right next to the hotel is rocky, making it popular with surfers. The nearest proper beach, Playa de Troya, is just a 3‑minute walk away. Outside the hotel you’ll find a lively shopping street, restaurants, cafés, and pharmacies.

On‑site parking is €6 per day, and you must leave a €35 deposit for the parking key, even if you stay only one night.

Beach towels are provided against a €10 deposit.

The property has Block A and Block B. Our room was #512 in Block A. The hallway carpet was dirty and badly in need of replacement; there are only two elevators, and they’re quite slow.

The room itself was small. There was generally enough space for luggage, but the wardrobe wouldn’t open at first, and the fridge was empty. As a welcome gesture, the hotel provided a 0.5 L bottle of water per person, a kettle, and a couple of tea bags. The bedding and towels were white and clean, though the furniture looked somewhat dated. The TV worked fine. We ran the air conditioning at night because leaving the window open was impossible with the noise from the nearby disco (we could still hear it with the balcony closed), and the party didn’t wrap up until dawn.

The floor felt soapy and grimy — as if it had been mopped with a harsh cleaner — so walking barefoot or in just socks was unpleasant. One of the curtains was torn; when we reported it at reception, they simply asked if we were OK with it. They finally replaced it once they saw us filming video. In the bathroom, hot water was available, but the shower curtain could definitely use replacement. The hair dryer couldn’t fully dry even my short hair in one go.

We opted for breakfast only. There was plenty of choice, but not everything was tasty. The usual spread included eggs in various styles, pancakes, yogurts, pastries, oatmeal, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, dried fruits, steamed vegetables, and fresh fruit (kiwi, plums, oranges, bananas, pomegranate, pear, apple). Tea and coffee were included. The restaurant was large, and even at peak times tables were readily available.

The grounds feature three pools in need of refurbishment, a poolside bar, and plenty of sun loungers.

Most guests were Polish, British, German, or Ukrainian.
